Start: 09:40 am at Germendorf, Tierpark Bus Stop. Bus 823 from Oranienburg Bahnhof at 09:20. Example transport route.
End: 17:18 from Vehlefanz. Example transport route.
Pace: Moderate when moving. Slow in Dinopark.
Transport Tickets: DeutschlandTicket or ABC each way.
Bring: Food and water for the duration of the event, appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather, sun protection, towel/swimsuit, a big smile, mosquito spray.
Extra: We play games and make a fool of ourselves sometimes. Be ready to join in :D

Pi Day, May the 4th be with you, Back to the Future Day.... all pale in comparison with the holiday that has taken the Internet by storm for the last 8 years, Julysixth Park!

This Sunday, we are being a little childish and going to have a fun time with some dinosaurs at Tier-, Freizeit- und Saurierpark Germendorf. Why so many words for the name? I guess they were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Legend goes, we will also pet some other animals that are not quite so prehistoric, and rumor has it we might even get to have a swim inside the fun park while overlooking a volcano! Let's just hope it does not wipe us out.

Some important infos on logistics:

- The bus connection from Oranienburg S to Bus 823 is of around 3 minutes. We must move fast!

- Entry ticket is 7 euros for Adults (which we partially are)

- The toilets might require a 50 cent coin to use. So make sure to carry one, as when you gotta go, you gotta go.

- As we are going to be a small group, ONLY KEEP RSVP IF YOU COMMIT ON COMING 100%. CANCEL AT MINIMUM 48 HOURS BEFORE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT. No Show might mean a ban or big restrictions this time around.

- Extra points if you bring a dino themed stuff. (Costume, dinonuggets, dinocookies...?).

But hold onto your butts, because the day does not end there.

After a few hours of sillyness, we will head out and explore what the glacial plain offers today, walking through some forest, fields and villages towards a quiet and pretty set of artificial lakes, while sightseeing some peculiar old buildings.

We close the adventure with a few trains back to civilization.
