Collage Club - Colors
I love collage because you don’t need any experience at all. You just cut up pieces of art that already exist and see what clicks for you. It feels like being a kid again... playing with glue and paper, following whatever catches your eye!
This time, our theme is colors. We are going to get obsessed with colors, colors that we love, colors that we hate or colors that are just calling us that day! I’m not giving away too much detail in now because I want you to come fresh without overthinking it.
I'll start with a short meditation to help you tune into whatever’s inside you that day. Then I’ll guide you with a simple playful prompt, and you just follow wherever it takes you. By the end, you’ll have made something with your own hands, stayed off your phone for two hours and hopefully feel refreshed and a little more connected to yourself.
What I love the most about these collage events is how everyone just gets lost in the process and sometimes the only thing you'll hear is the background music and someone randomly asking:
“If anyone finds a big floral skirt somewhere, let me know!”
