About us
Playground Dads is a casual group for dads with younger kids in the diaper bag, car seat, and playground years.
The goal is simple: meet other local dads while the kids play.
No parenting experts, no lectures, and no pressure. Just playground meetups, family-friendly activities, and a chance to connect with other dads who are in the same stage of life.
Bring the kids, grab a coffee, swap ideas, share local recommendations, and maybe make a new dad friend.

Playground Dad's Meetup: KidZone in Rockwall
Playground Dads is heading to KidZone in Rockwall!
This is one of the best playgrounds we've found for younger kids, but there is plenty for older kids to enjoy as well.
The playground is fully gated, has soft turf instead of wood chips, lots of shaded areas, and plenty of room for kids to run around and burn off energy.
There is no agenda, no pressure, and no organized activities. Just dads hanging out while the kids play.
Come meet some other dads, let the kids get their zoomies out, and with any luck they'll be ready for a good nap afterward.
As always, this is a free meetup.
I'll bring donuts, some snacks for the kids, a water jug, and put out the Playground Dads sign so we're easy to find.

Playground Dad's Meetup: Allan Shivers Park in Dallas

This is one of the more unique playgrounds we've found in Dallas. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the giant crayons out front.
The park has a little playhouse, musical play features, soft rubber ground, plenty of shade, and lots of room for kids to explore and burn off energy.
It's especially popular with younger kids, but there is plenty here for older kids to enjoy as well.
There is no agenda, no pressure, and no organized activities. Just dads hanging out while the kids play.
Come meet some other dads, let the kids get their zoomies out, and hopefully head home with a kid who's ready for lunch and a nap.
