About us
The Playmakers Creative Community is a space for individuals who want to reconnect with creativity, play, and each other.
We host free and affordable workshops, sessions, and gatherings that use play-based activities — from games and discussion to creative reflection — to help people connect, recharge, and share skills. You don’t need to be a professional artist, performer, or “creative” to take part. Curiosity is enough.
Our sessions blend movement, games, and creative practice. This might include theatre games, playful physical exercises, music and rhythm, writing, discussion, or collaborative challenges that get people out of their heads and into action. Some sessions are energetic and hands-on, others slower and reflective — all are designed to be accessible, supportive, and pressure-free.
This community is about showing up as you are, taking part in ways that feel right for you, and rediscovering creativity as something that belongs to everyone — not just a few.
If you’re looking for connection, creative energy, and a place to play without judgement, you’re in the right place.

The Artist’s Way – Free Weekly Online Support Group & Book Club for Creatives
·OnlineOnlineHi everyone,
Thank you for being part of the Playmakers journey — whether you’re brand new or you’ve been with us already, we appreciate you.
Playmakers is a creative community built around one simple idea: play isn’t just for children — it’s a powerful way for adults to connect, recharge, and grow. Over time, we’ll be hosting in-person workshops and events that blend theatre, movement, games, music, writing, and other creative activities to help people develop skills and build community.
For now, we’re keeping things simple. As a low-barrier entry point into the Playmakers space, we’re running a free weekly online workshop. It’s a creative book-club-style group centred around The Artist’s Way, where we explore ideas together, share reflections, and gently challenge ourselves in a supportive environment.
Each session stands on its own, so you can join at any point in the year. It doesn’t matter how far we are in the book — there’s no catching up required. Just come as you are and start where we are.
It’s relaxed, welcoming, and you can engage at your own pace. No pressure — just curiosity, creativity, and connection.New here? You can find all the details and sign up via This link - Book Club Sign up Form (you’ll receive the Google Meet link after submitting)
Returning? You don’t need to fill the form again — just join using the usual link you’ve already received or keep an eye out for our weekly emails.
