What we’re about
Play & Learn English is a unique community-based program in Japan that combines English language learning with fun, interactive experiences for children and families. Founded by Allen, an experienced U.S.-licensed teacher living in Japan, the group creates a welcoming space where kids can naturally use English through activities like:
🎮 Online games (Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite)
🤖 Hands-on robotics and programming (LEGO WeDo, Micro:bit, Apitor)
⚽ Physical games and sports (soccer, dodgeball, tag)
🎨 Arts, crafts, and storytime
🧠 STEAM-based workshops
With events hosted regularly in parks, gyms, and community centers, Play & Learn English promotes real communication, creativity, and teamwork, without the pressure of traditional classroom settings. Both Japanese and international families are welcome.
We believe learning happens best through play, curiosity, and connection.
