Whether you're completely new to improv or have some experience on stage, you're warmly invited to join this free improv workshop – a playful and welcoming space to explore, connect, and express yourself!
What to expect:
In this 2-hour session, we'll dive into the fundamentals of improvisation through games, partner exercises, and short scenes. We'll focus on key principles like listening, saying "yes-and," being present, and supporting your scene partner – all while having lots of fun and laughs along the way.
This is also a great chance to meet new people, socialize in a relaxed and creative environment, and share joyful moments with others who are open to play and discovery. We’ll keep the vibe friendly and inclusive – no pressure, just connection.

What to bring:

• Comfortable clothes you can move in

• Water and your lovely self!
• Non-slip socks or clean indoor shoes – street shoes aren’t permitted in the dance studio, and the floor can be a bit slippery.

Language: The workshop will be held in English, but you’re welcome to play your scenes in German if you feel more comfortable doing so.

### 👤 About the Teacher

Vasil S. Vasilev has been practicing improv since 2015, starting his journey with Shizi Improv Theater in Sofia. He trained at the legendary iO Theater in Chicago and currently volunteers as an improv teacher at Rice Cookie Improv Munich.
Vasil is also an actor and an acting student at the Internationale Schule für Schauspiel und Acting Munich, where he is further honing his craft. He has had the privilege of learning from improv legends like Dave Pasquesi (TJ & Dave), Susan Messing (co-founder of Annoyance Theater Chicago), Joe Bill, and many other incredible improvisers from around the world.
Along the way, he’s picked up not just skills but also a love for helping others unlock their creativity and spontaneity. He is also the founder, worker, boss, janitor, coffee maker, official troublemaker, and deep thinker of PlayPlay Improv. If something needs doing, Vasil is probably doing it—whether on purpose or by accident. Rumor has it, he even improvises his to-do lists.
