My name is Jeong Sohn. I'm the organizer of a successful pickleball group in the Toronto area, which has grown to 420 members.
As I live in Toronto, I'm looking for some help from you here in Ottawa. Is there anyone interested in helping host and run a meetup event at a public court in your neighborhood?
The current event I've posted was created using Google Maps without any local knowledge, so I'm not sure if the court is actually a good place for an event.
If you know of a suitable court near you and can bring together 4-5 people for a weekly game, I would be happy to make you an Event Organizer for this group. Most of our members are beginners just looking for partners to play with, so this is a great way to meet people and get into the world of pickleball.

This is a casual drop-in game for beginner and recreational level players.
What to Bring: You must bring your own paddle and outdoor balls.
Location: Owl Park tennis courts (with PB lines). Ample free parking is available on-site.
