Historic Oakwood Cemetery

Come paint the historic Oakwood Cemetery with us! The cemetery was established in 1839 and is Austin's oldest city-owned cemetery. The property is 40 acres and contains a historic chapel along with a protected view of the Capitol building from Comal Street.

Be sure to pack the art medium and supplies you would like to work in during the paint out as no supplies are provided. We will be painting outside "en plein air;" please dress appropriately and bring water.
