Plein Air Painting at Red Rocks

Hi Im Tasha (she/her), I find so much joy in helping people discover their inner artist. My plein air painting workshop is for creative people of all levels and there is no experience required. During my watercolor class we will go over some basic watercolor painting techniques and explore painting different scenes in nature. As a group we will take some time being still and observing our surroundings, feelings, and presence in the space. Our goal is to create beautiful artwork that captures the moment while exploring this question: How does being still and shifting perspectives change your perception of the scene and your connection to it over time?

All painting materials are included (in class use only, not to keep)

We will be hiking The Trading Post trail at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The trail is rated easy/moderate and is 1.5miles.

Bring: water, a snack, sunscreen, a hat, a small tripod chair (optional)
