Hike through the "Quintas" of Sintra

Hello ploggers and hikers !
Our next hike is "PR5 Quintas"

Please bring trash bags and gloves for the plogging activity.
There will be a small prize for whoever collects the most!

The hike starts at Palácio Nacional de Sintra

During the hike we will pass by:
-Quinta da Regaleira
-Quinta do Relógio
-Quinta do Castanheiro, contains a Legendary Chestnut with more than 500 years old where the Legend says that under this tree Luis De Camões wrote the Lusíadas

Length: 2.3km. Elevation gain 100m. Duration:2-3h
Difficulty: Easy
Weather conditions:expect it to be cooler and windier than Lisbon city

(We can then change to Sunday if it rains on Saturday)

Pack a picnic lunch and plenty water! Hiking boots, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses are advised for a comfortable hike.
Please bring 2 EUR to contribute toward the group's costs.
We can meet in Oeiras train station at 10:00 and we provide transportation by car or directly at Palácio Nacional de Sintra at around 11:00. We can also organize a meeting spot in Lisbon (Cais do Sodré for example) if more than one member is going from there
