PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit membership association for the project management profession, with more than half a million members and credential holders in 185 countries. Our worldwide advocacy for project management is supported by our globally-recognized standards and credentials, our extensive research program, and our professional development opportunities.
These products and services are the basis of greater recognition and acceptance of project management’s successful role in governments, organizations, academia, and industries.
The Queensland Chapter was incorporated as an Association on 4th December 2004. Our Chapter members are employed across various industries reflective of Queensland's economic output.
Vision:
Be the preferred project management association to advance the careers of project management practitioners and support the practice of project management in organisations throughout Queensland.
Mission Statement:
To advance the practice, science, and profession of Project Management across Queensland, within the Australian culture and the Global PMI contexts.
Objectives:
- We are aligned to the needs of our members and deliver services that are valued;
- Our Members tell us it is a great Chapter to belong to; and
- We ensure the PMI Queensland leadership capability continues to grow.

PMDoS 2025: Project Management Day of Service
The Westin Brisbane, 111 Mary Street, Queensland, AUPMI Queensland invites both experienced project management consultants and charity/not-for-profit organisations to be part of PMDoS, a one-day event dedicated to creating real impact through pro bono consulting.
