M&A integration is a complex process with many challenges and it is certainly a unique experience. Since Fortech was acquired last year by Global Logic, a Hitachi group company, and we are currently in the middle of the integration period, we would like to share with you our story so far, bringing to the fore the perspectives from both companies.

About the Speakers and Panel members
Elena Dmitrishina, Associate Vice President - GlobalLogic
Elena is for almost 20 years in the IT industry and majority of it with GlobalLogic. She started her career as a Business Analyst and eventually moved to the project management track where she spent most of her career, managing projects, programs, and software delivery organizations of different scale as well as doing pre-sales and business development. Now Elena is driving strategic corporate development projects across the GlobalLogic EMEA. M&A and PMI are her current focus.
Agota Radoi Riger, Project Manager Group Leader - Fortech
I am an engineer. From changing a door lock to understanding unsupervised learning algorithms, applied science makes me tick. I am also a fan of empathy... and chocolate :). Working with people in the IT industry (project management, process improvement, technical sales) has been pointed out as my strong suit for many years now. Every day I try to live by what I value the most: integrity, flexibility and creativity. I am in constant pursuit of creative outlets and sometimes share my thoughts via whatmakesmetick.space.
Monica Sălăgean, Delivery Manager - Fortech
With more than 10 years of experience in the IT industry, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, Monica has a keen interest in all aspects of software product development, process improvement, and project/delivery management. She is focused on making things happen and guided by the “flexibility is power” attitude. This makes project delivery enjoyable in any context, bringing value to the client and taking care of the team. Monica usually gets herself into challenging situations to increase her expertise and expand her comfort zone. She strongly believes that projects are about people, made by people for people, so she became an enthusiastic learner in understanding how humans think and behave.
