The Silicon Valley Chapter ([https://pmisv.org/)is](https://pmisv.org/)is) a regional component of the Project Management Institute and a resource for all aspects of project management leadership and information in California's Silicon Valley (southern end of San Francisco Bay). The chapter’s 2,000 plus members enjoy over 180 yearly local activities supported by an all volunteer staff. In addition, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification has been achieved by over 50% of its members.
The Chapter’s mission is to support the interests and needs of its members by providing the leadership and forums for expanding and sharing the knowledge of Project Management.

Oliver F. Lehmann, MSc, PMP, ACE is a Munich-based trainer, author, and consultant with more than three decades of project management experience. He has supported organizations worldwide in strengthening project practices, focusing on leadership, risk management, and cross-organizational collaboration.
A long-time contributor to the global project management community, Oliver has authored numerous articles and the book Project Business Management. He is a frequent speaker at PMI events and international conferences, helping professionals develop the business acumen and resilience needed in today’s complex environments.
A former president of the PMI Southern Germany Chapter, Oliver continues to advance the profession through thought leadership, education, and mentoring. His special expertise is Project Business Management, addressing the challenges of contract-based projects across organizational boundaries.
