Presentation Description:
How often have you seen Scrum Masters or Coaches that are laser focused on following the nuts and bolts of Scrum? Surprisingly enough, the teams do not come along and the effectiveness is not increasing. Sound familiar? People usually call them “purists”. While probably having good intentions, these people might be doing a disservice to the Scrum community. That’s because Scrum is a lightweight framework that is not prescriptive.

What if teams and organizations not only comprehend the ‘Hows’ of Scrum, but first focus on the ‘Whys’ and ‘Whats’ of Scrum? From there, they will be able to figure out their ‘Hows’ and tap into the whole power of Scrum.

Learning Objectives:
Organizations and teams will learn how to tap into the whole power of Scrum and not only learn about the ‘Hows’ of Scrum, but also the ‘Whys’ and What’. Training content will include, but not limited to:
Why is an empirical approach essential for solving complex problems?
Why is a Sprint the heartbeat of Scrum?
Why is a small, self-managed, cross functional Scrum team a fundamental unit of Scrum?
Why does a Scrum Master have no responsibilities, just accountabilities?
Why is a Product Owner one person, not a committee?

Intending participants must register in advance on the chapter website to receive event link.
