Join us for a unique PNW Accessibility Professionals event at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery, Outdoor Concerts in partnership with Live Nation.
This event will explore accessibility in one of the PNW's most iconic wineries and concert venues.

Dark Star Orchestra is an international touring tribute band to the rock group the Grateful Dead that have been active since 1997. Over the years, the Dead and their tribute acts have amassed a dedicated “Deafhead” community that enjoys the show through both ASL interpreting and mylar balloons that catch speaker vibrations. With over 24 Deafheads currently attending the show, Chateau Ste Michelle will be establishing our first ever Deaf Zone for guests to view the interpreting team. We are excited to be working with Billy and Jennifer Seago, a highly experienced ASL interpreting team that specialized in Grateful Dead music!
Attendees will experience the venue as guests while observing accessibility across the full journey—from arrival and parking to navigation, seating, and overall fan experience.
Please note that accessibility is a journey and this experience is designed to bring together accessibility experts from the PNW to share feedback and insights to help our local community continue to evolve and create inclusive experiences for our community. We are stronger together and our shared goal is to be 1% better every day.

Chateau Ste. Michelle’s outdoor amphitheater in Woodinville features paved accessible routes, ADA-designated parking lots, and companion seating. Over the last few years the venue significantly improved its pathways, aisles, and accessible seating capacities to better accommodate patrons.
Navigating the venue’s accessibility features involves the following details:
Parking & Arrival
- ADA Parking: Designated accessible parking is available near both the North and South entrances for standard concert parking rates. Must bring your placard.
- Drop-offs/Pick-Ups: Rideshares cannot access the venue property for approximately 45 minutes post-concert; pickups are on 145th Street.
Venue Access (Please select during registration!)
- Entry: Designated ADA lines are available at both gates for ticketholders with disabilities and up to 5 companions.
- Seating: ADA reserve seats are available, featuring wide, level paths to amenities.
- Hearing Assistance: Assistive listening devices (ALDs) can be checked out at the Guest Service hut next to the North Gate.
