CHANGE OF PLAN DUE TO JOLLY MOUNTAIN FIRE!!

What you need:

10 essentials plus any personal items, hiking poles (optional), hiking boots, sun protection, food and water, bright smile and great attitude. Good physical conditioning, self reliant and basic understanding of hiking and outdoor travel strongly recommended.

• Round trip: 28.0 miles
• Elevation gain: 1,700 ft
• National Park Pass Required

Getting There:

From Hoquiam, drive north on Hwy 101 for 35 miles and, one mile south of Amanda Park, turn east onto South Shore Road. Drive along Amanda Park for about 13.5 miles, then arrive at a junction at the Quinault River Bridge. Continue right, proceeding about six miles to the road's end and the trailhead.
