BBQ potluck lunch

YAYYYY!!!! Tax season has ended and it's time have fun again!!! How about a BBQ potluck lunch. Let's pray for good weather to dine outside but even still we can get cozy inside if necessary. Bring your fav potluck dish and bring ideas for events for this year. I would love to have a variety of activities going. I know some of you (including ME) are going to the Mercy Me concert later in the evening. But this would be a great preclude to an amazing concert. Let's start this year with a bang!!!! Please post a food that you would like to bring so that others can see and we can get a good mix of food.

I think it is very important that we represent ourselves well in this world. We advertise as a Christian group so that I feel it is EXTREMELY important to represent Christ in every aspect of our lives. We should treat servers well, tip generously and show the forgiveness of Christ that WE have been granted. If we don't like a place, then we don't go back. But we still MUST represent Christ's love. If you tithe at church to support ministry, then you should tip well when we as a group are representing the God who saved us. And smile, for Pete's sake, show that joy that Jesus puts in our hearts!!!

I would also like to encourage all of you to greet our new faces to the group. We are a ministry to Singles in this area. We all need a friend to love us when we are hurting. And you never know who really needs a friend.
