Join us for a guided walk to the Confluence Maya Lin Bird Blind, led by Oregon Chapter President Alisha Hamel. This unique outdoor artwork, designed by renowned artist Maya Lin, offers a striking place to pause, observe, and connect with the landscape at the meeting of the Sandy and Columbia Rivers.
As you walk through the Sandy River Delta, you’ll experience a dynamic environment shaped by water, wildlife, and history. Along the way, learn more about the cultural and natural significance of this landscape, its connection to the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, and the vision behind the Confluence Project.
This is a great opportunity to explore one of the region’s most distinctive sites, enjoy time outdoors, and gain deeper insight into art, place, and history. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
