Seattle Area Van/Camping: Blue Fox Drive In Theater (Oak Harbor, WA) July 26-27

Hello Van/Camping Enthusiasts!
The Blue Fox Drive-In Theater in Oak Harbor allows overnight camping in vans/RVs and tents, let's spend Saturday night July 26th there! You'll need to get there at 4:00 p.m. so they can direct us to the correct area to park. There will be two movies and we don't know what they'll be yet, but Superman is coming out early July and we may see that. I'll post the movies they will be playing as soon as I know. They provide radios to listen to the movie and you can also listen on your van/car radio.

They charge $50 for the night per vehicle and $6.50 for each additional person and give each vehicle $30 snack bar credit. It may not be the healthiest food, but you should be able to fill up for the night. See the website link below, and note that they discourage bringing in outside food (I'm thinking they don't want you to BBQ, etc.). Of course, we won't be able to have a campfire, so maybe we can go for brunch on Sunday?

Details:

• Fees: $50 per vehicle (plus $6.50 "movie fee" for additional people), includes $30 voucher for food (movie food, some vegetarian and gluten free options available)
• Electricity: None
• Bathrooms/shower: Bathroom
• Pets: Allowed (please leash/control at ALL times)
• Activities: Of course two movies and they have an arcade, go karts, and a tavern. We'll have a camp chair circle, van show and tells, and since we won't be able to build a fire, perhaps we can go to brunch together on Sunday?
• Getting there: It's on Whidbey Island, you may need to take a ferry, note that you should get there by 4 to park in the right place.
