Podcast and YouTube Creators Community - Join us in person or on Zoom for our new Meetup Group.
This group is for anyone who has a podcast, creates videos for YouTube, or is thinking of doing either or both and wants to start or grow their show, as well as be part of a community to bounce ideas off of and to share downloads and subscribers with. The meetings will be a hybrid of in-person (in Summit, NJ) and on Zoom.
Why are podcasts important? Hosting a podcast helps one build authority and credibility and position themselves as an expert in their field. Statista estimates that there will be over 100 million podcast listeners in 2024. There are many more reasons too.
Why invest time in this group? We're building a community. We can help each other grow our podcasts and YouTube channels by subscribing, watching, and downloading content, as well as connecting on social media. We also plan to offer members honest feedback on their podcasts from the group and ideas for improvement. And if you don’t have a podcast you can learn from others how to do it right from the beginning. We also plan to have accomplished speakers and to trade best tips from all of our members. Never done a podcast before? We can help with that too. Organizers Elizabeth and Stacy both have multiple podcasts and can guide you through the process. We can even help you in our studio so you can try it out before you buy expensive equipment, and we have ideas to test the content to see if your topic is of interest.

David Postolski, Esq., Speaker: David is a senior partner at Gearhart Law, is a registered patent attorney and Intellectual Property (IP) attorney for close to 20 years. David specializes in assisting inventors, creators, artists, start-ups, entrepreneurs, early-stage companies, and emerging companies with their U.S and international IP strategy, protection, enforcement, and monetization. David is a frequent speaker and author on emerging IP issues and technologies including, raising capital, business formation, food science, software, licensing, Data and Privacy Compliance, equity-based crowdfunding, and compliance with other US and International Regulatory structures. David is also a Professor at Temple University, Parsons School of Design and the Radzyner Law School (Herzliya, Israel) where he teaches master-level students about IP, ethics, and other regulatory considerations. David is a current Council Member of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law, founder of their International Action Group, and editor of their monthly newsletter, and the outgoing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Officer. David currently serves on Harvard’s Lemann Entrepreneurial Program Advisory Board.Rob Greenlee, Speaker: With 24 years of experience in online media creation, distribution, monetization, and marketing, Rob is a former content creator partner at StreamYard, a leading live and on-demand audio and video podcasting platform. As a podcasting expert and evangelist, he hosts the weekly "Podcast Tips with Rob Greenlee" show on his channels and an audio and video podcast via RSS. He also supports podcasting 2.0 tags and is increasingly using AI technology in his work and content creation, and started Spoken Life Media in 2023 to blend technology with creative vision.His career journey spans various roles and projects in the podcasting industry, from hosting and producing shows to consulting and training to leading and founding organizations.
