About us
Calling all Slam poets! We would like to invite all the lovers of spoken word, poetry slam and poetry in general, to our event of poENtry Slam! We meet once a month at the beautiful place of L'Estranger in neighborhood of Poble-Sec and let the words play with the emotions.
If you like to perform, just send us a message as soon as we announce our following event every month! We accept a maximum of 7 slammers, so be quick! You don't have to be a published poet or even a poet! If you like writing and live performance, join us!
We are looking for people, from all around the world, who would like to perform poetry in English in Barcelona!
As everybody has the right to judge art, you are all invited to score the words, demand emotions and enjoy poENtry Slam.
Rules are simple:
1. Poets have 3 minutes to perform an original poem of their own construction (reading from paper is not allowed).
2. Judges are selected from the audience, so if you don't like to perform, come to judge!

The BCN Studio, Carrer D´Elkano 26 1A (The BCN Studio local), Barcelona, ESWe are Makis & Yzaura, an artistic duo based in Barcelona. Together, we’ve created a Spoken Word performance infused with live experimental sounds and music.
