POETRY IN THE GARDEN – GUST SPEAKER ZEINA AZZAM

The Poetry in The Garden group will be meeting on April 6, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 pm, in the clubhouse of Schrom Hills Park, 6915 Hanover PKWY. Greenbelt, MD 20770.
Our guest speaker will be Zeina Azzam who is a Palestinian American poet, writer and community activist. She is the poet laureate of the City of Alexandria, Virginia, for 2022-2025. She will be reading some of her poems and share her writing experience in the past and present time. We welcome Ms. Azzam to our club.
This group is open to the community free of charge. After the intermission if time allows, people can read their favorite poem or just listen and participate in discussion. Please do not hesitate to invite a friend or a family member to this interesting meeting. Light refreshment will be served. Looking forward to seeing you all.
