Poetry Nexus - Moving to Facebook

There is an abundance of activity in the group as we slide into the Autumn season. It is a time of change. In some cultures, it is the ending of one year and the beginning of a new one.
The first order of business is to give Brian McDonagh a huge round of applause for founding the group and keeping it running for a solid year. Thank you so much, Brian. At this time, he has decided to step down from holding the 3rd Saturday of the Month workshop. He is feeling the call to participate more and facilitate less. He is always welcome to host again in the future.
As discussed on September 16, 2023, the group is moving to Facebook. There were three (3) groups under Friends of Poetry. I would like our group to stand out rather than blend in. Thank you to those who voted; the group’s new name is Poetry Nexus.
Beginning in October 2023, all poetic activities will be listed on the Facebook page. The programs will be listed under the Events heading. They will still be held on Zoom. The 2nd and 4th Sundays will still be poetry workshops for creating new work.

UPCOMING MONTHS:
I am planning to add more generative writing sessions. I am also developing a Revision Workshop. At this time, I do not have specific dates; however, I hope to have them developed before the end of 2023.
