What we’re about
The Polaris Sailing Society is a sailing and social organization for single adults.
- We provide our membership with sailing opportunities on a variety of boats owned by Polaris members.
- Weekly meetings at scenic San Diego locations.
- We engage our membership in fun-filled social activities.
Members who don't own sailboats sign up to crew on the boats of those who need crew. Opportunities to sail are not guaranteed, but depend on the availability of members' boats. We meet once a week which is when we handle crew signup. There's a social hour before the meeting. There may be other social and educational events.
Membership
You may participate in up to three events (meetings, sails, parties) before being required to join (you can join earlier).
Becoming a member of the Polaris Sailing Society is simple.
- You are an adult 21 or older.
- Dues are $50.00 per year (renewable on the anniversary date), payable to the society's treasurer.
- Eager to make new friends on and off the water!
