Texas Transportation Funding 101 - February 2025

Details
The Texas House of Representatives recently formed a Permanent Standing Subcommittee on Transportation Funding, while both the House and Senate are debating TxDOT's budget over the next couple of weeks. We're looking forward to seeing what they're able to accomplish, and in the meantime, we're refreshing our knowledge of transportation funding and costs that make up the Texas transportation system.
Policy Hacking with Farm&City is a monthly in-person and virtual gathering designed to engage and support citizen advocacy on public policy issues around transportation, urban planning, sustainability, and equity. We believe that a relatively small number of people from diverse backgrounds and across sectors can change the metro region for the better through an ongoing open discussion of important issues.
Held the 1st Tuesday of every month, Policy Hacking with Farm&City is free and open to the public.
Take the elevators to the 5th floor of Capital Factory and look for the Padawan room.
