Details
Hi everyone, its been a while since we had an event at Politics, Philosophy, and Big Ideas. I am happy to announce that for July, Yvonne Lau, a friend and member of our group, has invited our members to a special evening charity event celebrating Nepali arts and culture. We will also aim to have more events in 2021 so stay tuned!
Here is a description of the event from Yvonne:
Please join us for a celebration of Nepali art and culture in Hong Kong: Friday July 23 at Salon 10, Central (6-10 PM)!
On showcase will be traditional and contemporary paintings from some of Nepali's most celebrated painters, including rare work by the late Manik Man Chitrakar. We will have the never-before-seen photo exhibit of Kishor Sharma's new photography work documenting nomads from western Nepal.
All art will be for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going towards 2 charities supporting girls' education and Covid-19 relief in Nepal. Join us for some great art, vegetarian canapés, drinks and new friends!
Date: Friday July 23
Time: 6-10 PM
Venue: Salon 10 (10 Arbuthnot Road, Central)
