What we’re about
This group is to bring together Polish women in the DC metro area. The goal of this group is to discuss Polish culture, practice Polish language, maybe listen to Polish music and sample Polish food. In order to join this group, you should be either born in Poland or have basic knowledge of Polish language, have Polish ancestry, or be genuinely interested in Polish culture. This is a social group and thus we will not be discussing politics. We want to have fun and enjoy Polish culture and learning from each other. Some of the activities will be watching Polish movies, sampling Polish food, and good conversation.
I was born in Krakow, Poland, but over the 40 years of living in America, I have found myself losing the Polish language and culture. I would like to meet other women that want to discover or re-discover their Polish heritage. I hope you will join me
