Ruby Community Conference 2026
Details
## Ruby Community Conference 2026
Ruby Community Conference is back - and we’re excited to invite you to the 5th edition of our community-driven Ruby conference.
What started as local Ruby meetups grew into an international event that brings Rubyists together for inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and exceptional networking. In 2026, we’re returning to Kraków and to one of our favorite venues - the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology.
Manggha is not only a beautiful and unique space, but also a meaningful choice for a language that was born in Japan. Hosting a Ruby conference in a venue dedicated to Japanese art, culture, and craftsmanship feels like a natural tribute to Ruby’s roots.
## 🗓️ More than just one day
Thursday (day before the conference)
On the evening before the conference, a KRUG (Kraków Ruby User Group) meetup will take place.
We’re involved in organizing it, and it serves as the unofficial kickoff of the conference - a relaxed way to meet speakers and fellow attendees before the main event.
Talks:
- Jose Valim — Navigating programming language evolution in the AI era
- Andrzej Krzywda — 15 years of Rails with Domain Driven Design - lessons learnt
- Paweł Dąbrowski — Rails deployment buffet: picking your Docker dish
Saturday (day after the conference)
Trip to Wieliczka Salt Mine - trip to the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, including round-trip train transport from Kraków and a 2–3 hour English-guided tour.
