A relaxed, discussion-based group exploring major ideas in politics, society, and power. No prior knowledge is required at all.
We’ll read a mix of classic and modern thinkers, including Karl Marx, Slavoj Zizek, Michel Foucault, Mark Fisher, Judith Butler, and Alain Badiou, alongside foundational figures like Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
Topics include capitalism, ideology, power, freedom, and social change. The aim is to better understand how political and economic systems shape everyday life.
