These are some of the questions discussed in the The Queering of the American Child. An ideology which has captured American education, healthcare, and culture by Trans Ideology.

Although 'Trans Ideology' has been largely discredited in the Scandinavian countries in which they were once popular, the ideology is on its death throes in the UK (the Cass Report) and the USA (Trump), but still alive and well in Australia.

The book argues that Trans Ideology is a quasi-religious cult that targets children and seeks to undermine traditional family structures. Expect an energetic and passionate and respectful discussion, where everyone will come away with having learned something.

The book will discuss that many victims of Trans Ideology are trans people themselves. People suffering genuine and very real psychological stress surrounding gender may be pushed down the road of hormones and surgery. Meanwhile, many people associate trans people with the small (but loud) number of activists (some trans, some not) who claim to speak on behalf of all trans people.

The usual format is that we talk in a fairly focused way about the book for about an hour. Minority views are given a lot of space. Yours truly (Dale) will play the role of Devil's Advocate where there is no dissent. After an hour, the meeting formally ends, and the group breaks up into small discussion groups to further discuss the book or anything else.
