Polkadot is a new protocol being developed by the Web3 Foundation (https://web3.foundation/) in partnership with Parity Technologies (https://paritytech.io/).
Polkadot allows new designs of blockchains to communicate and pool their security, while still allowing them to have entirely arbitrary state-transition functions.
We invite you to join us for a conversation on Polkadot:
Dr. Gavin Wood (Co-founder of Web3 Foundation, Parity Technologies, and Ethereum) will speak about key functionality of the protocol, and be available for Q&A.
Maciej Hirsz, Core Developer at Parity Technologies will discuss PICOPS (Parity ICO Passport Service). PICOPS is the KYC tool created by Parity Technologies, and currently being utilized by the Web3 Foundation for Polkadot.
