What we’re about
The Polkadot Guild is a place to learn, talk about experiences, share knowledge, and deepen your understanding of Polkadot, Kusama, and the Substrate blockchain ecosystems.
As a remote-first company, ChainSafe has experimented with guilds as a tool to boost internal engagement and knowledge share. Running "guilds," much like one would have "water cooler talks" - but specifically focused on a topic of interest - has been a boon in terms of building camaraderie and sharing domain-specific expertise.
Guild meetings have traditionally been internal, but we're inviting our community members and the public to join the Polkadot Guild for the first time! This is one of our most active guilds, and we're extremely excited to be opening the doors for all.
You can expect:
- Casual conversations, a friendly atmosphere, and insight from people working on Polkadot
- External guests from the likes of Parity, RMRK, parachain teams, and more!
- Presentations on novel topics such as consensus, governance, parachain slot auctions, etc.
- POAPs for participation and attendance
