Hey folks! It's almost time for the Polyamory Peer Power meeting with the San Mateo County Pride Center!

June 7 TOPIC: Book Discussion: Multiamory: Essential Tools for Modern Relationships with Emily, Dedeker, and Jase!

Relationships aren’t “one-size-fits-all” so why should relationship advice be? Multiamory offers practical, research-based communication tools for the full spectrum of modern relationships.

Authors Dedeker Winston, Emily Sotelo Matlack and Jase Lindgren, hosts of the Multiamory Podcast, spent many years and hundreds of episodes, nerding out over research, reading up on evidence-based relationship advice, and listening to the personal struggles of hundreds of couples and individuals. They have re-tooled commonplace communication frameworks to fit modern-day relationships, and when there was no existing tool that fit, they put on their inventor hats and developed their own. This has led to the creation of Multiamory: Essential Tools for Modern Relationships, a curated collection of the most popular communication tools, advice, and wisdom from the Multiamory podcast that have helped thousands of listeners improve their communication and create healthy relationships.

MORE INFO:
This is a social and discussion group for polyamorous/open/RA/poly-friendly/poly-curious/etc folks in San Mateo County (and beyond).
Each month on the 1st WEDNESDAY, we have an ONLINE discussion at 7pm. Topics are announced as we get closer to the event. Sometimes we have guest speakers, sometimes we will show a video and discuss, and sometimes we just choose a topic to share our own stories around.
Come share your experiences and ideas with others, and learn from them in return. Get to know other poly/open/etc people in San Mateo County (and beyond)!

The San Mateo County Pride Center is open to all, including LGBTQ, polyamorous, monogamous, monogamish, open, RA, poly-friendly, queer allies, as well as people from any background, race, gender or sexual identification, religion, political affiliation, and length of hair (or lack thereof!). If you are interested and respectful of diversity, we're happy to have you join us!

In order to support the Center, we are now asking for an optional & voluntary donation of $10-$15, with no one turned away for lack of funds. Thanks for helping us to keep the Center open and accessible to as many as possible!

While we are still online-only, you may make donations via the main Pride Center Website: https://sanmateopride.org/donations/
It would be great if you could add a note indicating that you are donating as part of attending the Polyamory Peer Power group. Thanks!

We look forward to seeing you on the first Wednesday at 7pm!
Dawn Davidson, Paula, and the Pride Center staff
