A very happy new year 2023 to all of you. Under the polyglot language & runtimes theme, our next meetup will present an overview of "Language Runtimes and Open source" , how they are growing and what are the opportunities we have. The open source communities for language runtimes are bustling with innovation and growth. Be it OpenJDK or node.js or golang or Rust, a lot is happening on these projects. Even traditionally closed source runtimes like .Net are also opening up. This represents a great set of opportunities for developers as well as companies to get involved, influence the technologies and build eminence. Come join Samir Kamerkar, Director of Engineering at Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu to discuss the ecosystem and opportunities.
