Starting with records, sealed types, and enhanced switch expressions, we'll move into pattern matching for instanceof and switch, then explore virtual threads, Stream gatherers, scoped values, flexible constructor bodies, and compact object headers. Easier to see how these innovations help developers craft cleaner, more efficient, and high-performance Java applications.
Speaker Bio : Jayashree S Kumar is a Principal Member Technical Staff with Oracle's Java Platform Group. In a career spanning over 14 years, she has worked extensively on various JDKs. Been tester, classes developer and L3 support engineer. She has authored several disclosures and was an evaluator in Invention Development Team while working at IBM. She has also been a speaker at international conferences including EclipseCon, KCDC, DevNexus and GIDS. Is an active co-organizer of Bangalore JUG and core organizer of JavaFest conference (community-driven one-day non-profit conference https://javafest.org), Bangalore.
