Mostly dogs and books - monthly book club

Hi everyone! I’m launching a monthly dog themed book club for people who love dogs, reading and good conversation. Come along to share your thoughts, meet like minded locals and enjoy a relaxed get together with your dog by your side.

We’ll start by chatting about the book, then follow the conversation wherever it takes us - whether that’s dogs, life or anything else the story inspires.

Haven’t finished the book? No problem. You are still very welcome and there will be plenty to talk about.

Our October book is ‘Everybody died so I got a dog’ by Emily Dean. A funny and moving memoir about grief, family and the remarkable companionship of dogs.
