What we’re about
Your publishing success is just as important as your writing success! As a a matter of fact, publishing success can be the return on your investment in the writing process.
By publishing successfully and choosing the right path to publishing your books, you can earn back--and feel rewarded for--all the time, money, effort, energy, and creativity you put into writing, editing, and designing your book. If you aren't sure which path to publication is right for you, visit the following link to take the free "What's Your Path to Publishing" quiz that will help you pick the path to publishing that fits your needs and goals: https://joylynnross.clickfunnels.com/landing-page1626903911279.

Self-published authors turn authorpreneurs are making sure they have a copy in their author toolkit so that they can start making money with their book before it's even written!
Pop-Up Publishing School was formed by over two-decade literary industry professional, Joylynn M. Ross, CEO and Founder of Path To Publishing (an author assistance and literary service provider) and the main course instructor at the annual "Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business" Conference held every September in Las Vegas, Nevada (www.pathtopublishing.com/conference) which doubles as a DIY MBA in Publishing Program (https://www.pathtopublishing.com/mba-in-publishing-60-hour-program).
The mission of this group is to provide information, resources, and to host events (in-person and virtual) that will educate you on the process and business of writing and publishing. You can start by downloading your free publishing map on Path Path To Publishing's website homepage: www.PathToPublishing.com.
When this group was initially formed January 2020, it was an in-person event until the pandemic put a halt to that. Now, we hold virtual sessions around three times a year, as well as host some in-person events as well. But throughout the year, as a member of this group, you will receive periodic tips, tools, information, resources, and instruction that will help chauffeur you along your publishing journey. After all, learning all aspects of the publishing process is one thing, learning how to implement and execute them is another. We cover both.
During the virtual events, you'll learn more in-depth about the various paths to publication and which routes suit you and your particular literary project. You'll learn how to publish in excellence so that you don't just go through the motions to simply "get your book out there," but so that you can keep it out there; in the hands of the consumers, all while contributing to and supporting the literary arts and literary community, as you also create a literary legacy and build a literary empire!
There are no annual dues to be a member of this group, but some of the in-person and virtual events will be fee-based. You'll always have the option of attending or not. The fees will be solely designed to increase engagement, help cover the cost of any in-person meet-up spaces, equipment and supplies, and most importantly, to get people to show up, as showing up is the first step toward a successful learning process. Joylynn is committed to showing up, and it will be great knowing each member is as well.
Before joining Pop-Up Publishing School, you can learn more about Path To Publishing at www.pathtopublishing.com, and you can learn more about Joylynn M. Ross's teaching style by signing up for her free introductory publishing course at www.joylynnMross.com. If your vision, mission, and goals align, then we welcome you to join the group.
Bring your questions and bring your answers to each session because at "Pop-Up Publishing School," you're both the student and the teacher. Regardless of where you are on your literary journey or how long you've been on it, there's something you've learned that you can teach others. And in an ever-changing industry, there's always more to learn!
