Part 1- Tape Art – multilingualer Workshop mit Yi Meng Wu
Saturday, 23. September 2023
14:00 – 17:00
C*Space is a unique meeting place in Berlin Weissensee that embodies the rich cultural connection between Asia and Berlin. The courtyard of the C*Space will be our big canvas for the multilingual tape art workshop. Here we will be inspired by Chinese New Year sayings calligraphy and writing installations in public spaces to express good wishes and hopes. Featuring tape art that uses colored tape!
Together we think about sayings and words as an expression of our own longings and desires. These could be of a private nature, react to current world events or comment on the immediate environment. The result allows the loud and soft tones to be heard multilingually and colorfully through the art of writing in public space.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in calligraphy and does not require any previous experience. However, due to the limited number of participants, registration by e-mail is required.
Time: 2-5pm
Language: Deutsch/ Englisch
Participation Fee incl. Material Costs: 10,-€.
