About us
This group is for you, if you like to explore new sides of Copenhagen, and possibly also expand your group of friends and aquaintances.
In Pop-up Tours we love doing good guided tours, and we hope we can help make your stay in Denmark more enjoyable. Our focus are expats (short term or long term), but Danes and tourists alike are very welcome.
On our tours and events, we have the ambition that you will learn something about Copenhagen and life in Denmark while also having a nice afternoon. We are also about meeting new people, and we almost always finish with a visit to a café or the like for those who are interested.
All guides are professional tour guides, and the main organizer is also an HR facilitator. There is a small fee involved in the tours.

Explore Copenhagen’s Harbor on a private cruise
Langebro, København, DKPop-up Tours Copenhagen invites you on a private, guided boat tour of the Copenhagen harbor. You'll explore parts of the harbor only accessible by boat and enjoy the company of fellow expats and Danes.
There’ll be a maximum of 10 guests on board, plus Pop-up host Jens and our experienced captain Henrik, who will guide us through the city’s evolving waterfront neighborhoods.
This is becoming a tradition in our Pop-up group —it's our fifth harbor tour with Henrik! And this year, we’ll explore the hidden corners of the harbor, have dinner at Reffen - and for the first time, make a landing on the Trekroner island.
🕓 Tour time: 16:45–20:00/20:30 (including time for a casual dinner by the water)
From the boat, you’ll experience highlights such as:- Nyholm, Holmen & Refshaleøen – once the home of the Danish navy and now a creative hub
- Islands Brygge – a former industrial harbor turned into a vibrant recreational area
- Havneholmen, Sluseholmen & Teglholmen – bold new harborfront architecture and neighborhoods
- Trekroner island - the former fortress protecting Copenhagen from incoming ships.
Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Copenhagen’s maritime history, urban development, life by the water—and how much it costs to live there! And there'll be time to get to know the other participants.
