Hey everybody, here’s the scoop on the next meetup:

“As Whidbey Island's one and only Digital Horologist, Dorian Garson designs and makes timepieces that don’t tell time.

Dorian will tell us about his creations and present a not-quite-deep dive on his LunaKron 2 automatic moon phase clock, including construction methods, tools, electronic components, & firmware, plus a leisurely Q & A session.”

Those of you who have been to the past few meetups have probably had a chance to talk to Dorian and maybe have gotten a peek at some of the wonderful gizmos he makes. He recently has given some presentations to other groups (like a watchmaker trade group, if I remember correctly) and he’s happy to present to us, as well.

We’ll be back at General HydroStatics again and there will be pizza and refreshments. Thanks again to GHS for having us!

”could you produce an 1280x720 image that features simple machines (levers, pulleys, wheels, etc.) and also more advanced tools (drills, jackhammers, nail guns, etc.) image should be cartoon-y and colorful. let's make the images much more abstract and lose the text.”
