Kubernetes “the easy way” classroom based workshop.

If you are attending KubeCon NA, and will have two hours free on the Tuesday 25th… we would love to have you attend our hands on training session.

Bring your laptop, we will provide everything else.

Topics covered:

1. build a self-hosted microk8s cluster
2. deploy Portainer on the MicroK8s cluster
3. deploy a cluster in Civo using Portainer
4. enable centralised authentication to Kubernetes via Portainer (using Azure AD)
5. enable RBAC user access to clusters via Portainer
6. define OPA pod restrictions using Portainer
7. create your first GitOps pipeline using Portainer, experiment with how this works.
8. use client-side tooling to manage Kubernetes clsuters via Portainer’s central Kubernetes API proxy
9. triage an application viewing logs, events, metrics; all via Portainer

We will provide cloud vms, civo credentials, drinks and snacks.. you bring your brain and appetite to learn.
