Linocut Printmaking Workshop

We invite you to join the Mermay creative challenge, which runs throughout May and is dedicated to mermaids, sea creatures, and underwater themes.
During the workshop, you’ll learn the linocut technique, customize your own mermaid, cut out the design, and print your artwork. This time, we’ll focus on two-color printing—we’ll work with layering two colors and see how the image changes through the combination of layers.

What we will do:
🔹 get introduced to the traditional linocut technique
🔹 carve your own design
🔹 experiment with hand printing and create original postcards
