Hey Everyone,

OMSI is throwing a weeklong science party (https://omsi.edu/exhibits/oregon-sci-fest) and has graciously invited the PDX 3D Printing Lab to join in during the weekend's Science Extravaganza! We've had a big presence in the past Mini Maker Faire events, and we look forward to continuing the tradition. We're quickly approaching the festival date, and have over a dozen exhibitors signed up.

If you'd like to volunteer, sign up here (https://forms.gle/Xp4Vxotu7mJtn36N8). All volunteers will receive a wristband for free access for the whole weekend. A couple of notes:

- The Setup crew on Friday 9/15 (2-7pm) will be asked to take 3 hour shifts to keep up with the incoming traffic. We have a few key positions (door security, moving carts) that will need to be covered until all exhibits are set up. If you sign up for setup, expect to be busy!

- Booth Support Volunteers will be be asked to serve 2-4 60 minute shifts on Saturday 9/15 or Sunday 9/16 from 9:30AM-5:30PM. This gives exhibitors a chance to take breaks or need extra assistance. Volunteers are encouraged to visit all the booths and get acquainted!

- Takedown on Sunday 9/16 5-7PM is organized chaos; we will need a handful of dedicated volunteers to speed up the exit and loadout process.

A work schedule will be posted the week of the festival.

More details to come, but consider this a call for participation so we can plan ahead. Feel free to contact me or Miguel directly with any questions. Thanks!
