Monthly Meetup

Hey Folks!

Our friends at Autodesk are graciously hosting us at their office. Come through the front door on Ankeny, sign in at the front desk, and take the stairs to the second floor. If you need the elevator, ask security to let you up. There is bike parking inside the building on the second floor as well.

Pizza, sparkling water, and izze drinks will be served.

What started as a desire to replicate a broken lamp shade using a 3D printer turned into a bigger challenge: designing and fabricating a geometric lamp with a hand-cast, touch-sensitive concrete base and 3D-printed shade using unusual bio-based filaments.
