Joe Krcma: 3D printing, CNC, & Slip Casting Ceramic Sound Absorbing Bricks

Hey Folks!

In collaboration with the Digital Fabrication meetup, we will be featuring Joe Krcma presenting his master's thesis on 3D printing, CNC, and slip-casting ceramic sound-absorbing bricks.

Joe is a Portland native and spent the last 8 years in London where he was 3D printing robots, running a corporate maker lab, and earning a degree in Architecture focusing on Design For Manufacture.

Our friends at Autodesk are graciously hosting us at their office. Come through the front door on Ankeny, sign in at the front desk, and take the stairs to the second floor. If you need the elevator, ask security to let you up. There is bike parking inside the building on the second floor as well.
