Neurodivergent folks are awesome. This group is intended to be a space to build community in the Portland-area for folks who identify as neurodivergent.
As this group is new, I'm uncertain what kind of events others have been craving, but I'll be setting up some events soon to connect with others. Please let me know if you'd like to be involved in helping to lead this group and/or any ideas you have for ways to engage, build community, or activities you are craving to bond around.
Community Guidelines:
1. Respectful communication. Members should engage in respectful and courteous communication at all times, avoiding insults, harassment, or demeaning language.
2. Empathetic communication. We all have different communication styles and preferences. Please be mindful of asking for consent to talk about difficult subjects, balancing the time you talk with the time that others talk, and communicating if someone has said something that is harmful.
2. No hate speech or discrimination. Content promoting hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability is strictly prohibited.
