Drawing on experience at Stripe and Netflix, two organizations with sprawling, polyglot ML and service codebases, this talk shares practical and effective approaches for using AI day to day. I’ll cover my evolution from using simple chat assistants, to copilots, to lightweight agents across multiple model families. I’ll also weave in workflows and tips from friends and colleagues who’ve worked at Twitter, Lyft, Meta, Indeed, and Anthropic, and how it's changing how they design and build software for the future.
