Steven’s Amble & Ramble at Laurelhurst Park

Hello there! This is a meetup in which strangers connect with fun and meaningful conversations in the lovely outdoors.

If this entices you, I welcome you to join me at Laurelhurst Park on this lovely August evening. We will be a walking conversation salon — pairs of strangers, given prompts by way of my voice, will partake on a ten-minute walk around The Pond, meet back at the starting point, then do it again!

I will start us off with an introduction, some icebreakers to warm things up, and then we’re off!

Let’s see how many guests we can get—I’m aiming for 75, but I dream of 100! Tell your friends, invite your neighbors, let’s stir things up and have some good social interaction!

This meetup is done in the spirit of presence, vulnerability, and the intent to hear what the other person across from you is saying. I intend to dive deep with my prompts. I hope to detract from loneliness for a while, to engage us in directed socializing and conversation, so that hopefully everyone feels a little bit more seen, heard, and understood. See you there!
