Amble & Ramble at Laurelhurst Park

Ah, to be in the trees at Laurelhurst Park, a true gem in the Portland parks collection!

Amble & Ramble builds authentic connection by pairing strangers randomly for a brief walking conversation around the park.

We’ll begin with an introduction followed by forming conversation pairs. You will receive an optional discussion prompt that invites authenticity. Then we stroll for 15 minutes through the park, make our return, and begin the process again. We’ll do about four to five circuits.

If our crowd is larger, we will break into smaller conversation circles so you have opportunities to meet more new companions.

This event is intended to be pleasant, engaging, easeful, and meaningful. We all endure some loneliness in this culture and it’s important to me to alleviate that for an afternoon when I can!
