About us

Shark City Athletic Club (SCAC) is a functional hybrid run community built around purposeful movement and real-world fitness.

Our events consist of 3–5 mile runs combined with functional, bodyweight-based movements performed at set intervals or during specific phases of the workout. Think running broken up by carries, calisthenics, mobility, and endurance-focused work designed to challenge strength, stamina, and mental grit, without requiring gym equipment.

These workouts are ideal for runners looking to build strength, hybrid athletes training for events like HYROX, and anyone who wants a challenging but scalable training environment. All sessions are structured, adaptable to different fitness levels, and focused on moving well under fatigue.
